An Ode To Blair
For those who have been following this blog for a while, I'm sure you've noticed that a certain not-so-brave, but oh-so-beefy beagle has been running my life and my husband's life for exactly three years now.
As we celebrate our three year adoption anniversary with Blair this week, we also call it her birthday celebration. She is now considered a senior beagle at the ripe age of nine, but still acts very much like a puppy in front of us.
Sadly, given her background of abuse, my piano students and families rarely see Blair at all, and if they do see her, it is but for a moment before she races upstairs to enjoy a nice, long nap.
In honor of Blair's three years of adopting and nine years of beagling, I've decided to dedicate this week's blog post to pictures of the dog who helped us overcome our grief of losing our first adopted beagle, Ginger. Not only that, she has been a daily source of entertainment and humor.
